Most of you probably don’t know this (we sure didn’t), but recently crowned MotoGP World Champ Nicky Hayden is bit of a basketball fan.
"Nicky is a big hoops fan," Red Bull’s Jordan Miller told us recently, "and so when we took Nicky to a Lakers game I called the team and asked if we could get a meeting with Nicky and Kobe. The Lakers asked Kobe if he'd meet Nicky, and they called me back and said Kobe'd meet with Nicky after the game. Kobe rides, and so they chatted for a couple minutes. Nicky gave Kobe a couple Championship jerseys we and Alpinestars had made up, and a pair of the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix gloves. Nicky invited Kobe to the Red Bull U.S. Grand Prix, so maybe we’ll see him there this summer."
