$1500 Streetbike Surgery

The Good Doctor Z

drz211

In our March 2007 issue’s “MC Garage” section, we featured an inexpensive hop-up of the Suzuki DR-Z400SM. Space constraints prohibited us from running a full parts list, but we promised to post it online. Here, then, is where you can find all the items mentioned in that article.

I’m considering a 400SM, but I hate to buy something and then the bike is re-vamped from the dealer. I wonder how long before we see a DRZ 450SM? Fuel injection, 450cubes, aluminum frame. Sounds good to me!

pure fun going “fast” on a slow bike.My 05 has all the mods as above minus pipe. A blast on trackdays, tight track! Great city bike.

For your tires at the best prices go to http://www.onlinehelmets.com Then click on any of the helmet tabs and you will go to Ride Gear. You’ll find any tire at a great price there. Kavutu

    Nice….

Not sure I could afford the costs in rear tyres though. I Will upload it to bikerkiss.com to share it with my biker friends.
