Before treatment. This is kind of snag has the potential to stock a restoration project in its tracks. Supposedly there were only 1000 MB5s imported into the U.S., so as you can imagine a clean replacement would be difficult to find.

After treatment. The amount of material removed is amazing. The Rusteco bath didn’t damage the paint or have any effect on the rubber grommets. The rust is on its way back though, so I’d better seal this thing quick!
