Yoshimura’s R-77 exhaust is now available for the Suzuki V-Strom 650 and Honda’s new NC700X, with both stainless and carbon/stainless options. The exhaust features a straight baffle with removable sound-reducing insert and Yoshimura’s signature trapezoidal canister. The stainless exhaust for the V-Strom has an MSRP of $719, and the carbon/stainless has an MSRP of $839. For the NC700X, the stainless has an MSRP of $479 and the carbon/stainless has an MSRP of $599.
Yoshimura describes the exhaust as having a “throaty” note instead of merely being “loud.”

The R-77 features a straight baffle with removable low-volume insert. The muffler’s front-cap is MIG-welded, while the carbon fiber end-cap is riveted on, using high-end 304-L polished stainless steel rivets and bands.

According to Yoshimura, due to its design, the R-77 delivers better performance overall because of the large volume of packing material available inside.
